Biggest mistake new businesses make
In relation to branding, the most common mistake that new businesses continually make is that they haven’t effectively:
- Pinpointed how they’re different, or
- Communicated their point of difference.
Whenever there’s a new business or brand, the first question potential customers will ask is “how are they different?”, not “how are they the same?”.
The “what’s different” will get you noticed. So be sure to identify “what’s different” in your value proposition, and then communicate it, over and over and over again.
As long as you’re ‘different’ in a good way, it will give you a great platform from which you can build your success.
