BRAND REFRESH

The Gold Coast City Marina (GCCM) is Australia’s very first ‘one stop-shop’ for boats. Providing refit, maintenance, and shore support services for vessels up to 2,500 tonne, it’s Australia’s most awarded marina and shipyard.

OUR THINKING

GCCM sought a brand refresh to complement their position as the leading marina and shipyard. The logo we developed is striking in its simplicity yet encompasses marine-related imagery. We always ensure our logos tell a story and represent the business in some way. In this particular instance, elements of a flag are used to represent water ripples that are also used to symbolise a boat sailing. This brand identity has been applied extensively throughout the marina – everything from entry signage and maintenance equipment to courtesy cars.
